You design it in the browser
Material, shape, size to the millimetre, your words. The designer draws your sign to scale as you type — what you see is the thing we make, not an artist’s impression.
It is priced live
The price updates with every change you make, VAT included. No quote to wait for, no "from" price that turns out to mean something else at checkout.
We cut and engrave it
Engraved through laminate, cut into solid brass and oak, laser-marked into anodised aluminium. The lettering is in the material, not printed on it — rain and sun have nothing to peel off.
A person checks it
Every order is proofed by a human before it goes near a machine. If an apostrophe wanders or a date looks slipped, we get in touch before cutting — not after.
It goes in the post
Made and dispatched within three working days, with the fixings you chose in the envelope.
The materials we stand behind
Six of them, every one rated for outdoors. We cut all six in the same workshop, which is how a brass plaque and a valve tag end up made with the same care.
Precision is the whole product
A sign is a small object that has to be exactly right: the millimetres you measured, the words you meant, lettering deep enough to read in the rain. So the designer works in real millimetres, the machines cut what the designer drew, and a person stands between the two checking that what leaves here is what you asked for. If we get it wrong anyway, we remake it — our mistake, our cost.
