Who is responsible for your data

Hastor is a trading name of Augmun Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 13335266). Augmun Ltd, trading as Hastor, is the data controller for this site. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, London, Greater London, WC2H 9JQ. For anything about your data, email hello@hastor.co.uk.

When you place an order

We collect your name, contact details, delivery address and the design of your sign — the words included, since the words are the product. We use them to make your order, post it, and help you if something goes wrong. The lawful basis is the contract between us: we cannot make and send your sign without them. Checkout and payment happen on Shopify’s own domain; we receive the order and delivery details, not your card details, and we share your address with the delivery company that carries your parcel.

We keep order records for six years, because tax law requires it. That is a legal obligation, not a choice.

Analytics — only if you say yes

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used. It does not run by default: nothing is loaded and nothing is stored on your device until you choose “yes” on the cookie banner, and your choice itself is kept in your browser’s local storage. If you opt in, PostHog records the pages you visit, the things you click, page-speed measurements and a session replay in which everything you type is masked — the designer holds people’s names and addresses, so inputs are never recorded. The lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time (see cookies). We use no advertising or marketing cookies at all.

Who we share data with

Shopify (to take your order and payment), PostHog (EU-hosted analytics, only with your consent) and the delivery company that brings you your sign. We do not sell your data, and nobody gets your details for their own marketing.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct data that is wrong
• Have your data erased
• Restrict or object to how we use it
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis

To use any of them, email hello@hastor.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk — though we would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.

Changes

If what this site does with data changes, this page changes with it. It describes the site as it actually runs, not a template.
