Questions people actually ask
Will it stick to my door?
The self-adhesive foam pads hold on uPVC, painted wood, composite and metal — clean the spot, press firmly, and give it a day before judging it. A steel letterbox can take the magnetic backing instead, and screw holes make it permanent beyond debate.
Will the rain get to it?
No. Engraved plastic is a two-layer laminate — the text is cut through the top colour into the core, so there is nothing printed to wash off. It is rated for ten years of British weather.
How small can the text go?
We like 3 mm and up — smaller than that stops being readable at arm’s length, which rather defeats a sign about junk mail. The designer warns you before it gets that far.
